Windows 7: Error 1320 (Specified path is too long). 10 Mar 2013 #1 Calpis Windows 7 Ultimate x64 3 posts Error 1320 (Specified path is too long). Hey guys, I have a problem. I keep getting error 1320 whenever I try to install the Red Giant Effects Suite trial. Half way through the installation process, I get error 1320 which basically tells me that the folder name exceeds 260 characters (or something like that). Anyways, I would try to rename the folder except its located in ProgramData\Documents and I keep getting access denied, so no way to access the Red Giant folder. Also, during the installation setup, I figured that maybe I could try to change the location but it doesn't give me that choice so I'm stuck. Is there anyway to remove the 260 character limit? I heard its possible, but I'm not sure how to do it. I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Thanks.
