This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package. I have a lot of 3ds max installing CD. But always show same Error message. Taoizm09-03-2003, 02:52 AMLooks like a call to Discreet is in your future to sort that one out. cheers. Darv09-03-2003, 05:35 AMYou may want to try and copy the files from the CD to see if you get any errors and if not, attempt to install from there. 3ds max uses the Microsoft Windows Installer program to install. If you continue to get the error, it is possible that the Windows Installer program is in some way messed up. That's a tough one to troubleshoot and you should probably call support.
