I've had to roll it back due to memory leaks. They have new patches, but error 1920 echec from what I've seen in the forums, there is still issues. This is probably unrelated to what you are seeing (I still have a few PCs with 8.8 that I have yet to get to), but the additional issues are worth bringing to management and holding off till they get the fix permanent. 0 Tabasco OP Mark Wormald Dec 9, 2011 at 6:59 UTC We think we have an answer - still testing it Ignore the error message - and once it is complete, install the agent over the top Will update this later 0 Mace OP Denis Kelley Dec 9, 2011 at 7:02 UTC If you are interested in what else may go wrong, check out this thread on the McAfee forum. 0 Tabasco OP Mark Wormald Dec 12, 2011 at 3:53 UTC Well - can't say I like it but ... If you tell the McAfee AV installer to ignore the fact that it can't start the service Allow the install to complete and then install the latest McAfee Agent over the top The services start successfully after this. As a comment it seems totally wrong to be ignoring an error message on the install of something as critical as AntiVirus 0 Tabasco OP Mark Wormald Dec 12, 2011 at 4:02 UTC Denis Kelley wrote: If you are in2013SBS2008/2011Server 2003Server 2008Server 2012Windows VistaWindows 7Windows 8Windows 10Windows XPTerminal ServicesVMwareVeeam HomeMicrosoft Office 2013 Office 2013 Error 1920. To set it to automatic do the following. For both Windows 7 and Windows 8. Press Windows key+R Enter Services.msc then press return. Scroll down alphabetically and find the service named Windows Font Cache Service Double click it and set the start-up type to Automatic Click apply. Now start the office 2013 installation and the error will not occur.   Allen WhiteAllen is a Consultant for ITPS in the North East of England and holds the following accreditations.
