Verify guinneal Feb 9, 2004 2:08 AM Hello, I have posted this request error 1920 service failed to start verify that you have sufficient privileges on this forum before, but have not had much luck (Please see the string of messages sent to me from September last year (http://forums.mcafeehelp.com/viewtopic.php?)I am unable to get McAfee to update. Get error 1920 service failed to start logmein the error Framework Services Failed to start. Verify that you have enough priveleges, etc etc. Someone suggested renaming the logon account for the Framework services. I've had to roll it back due to memory leaks. They have new patches, but from what I've seen in the forums, there is still issues. If you tell the McAfee AV installer to ignore the fact that it can't start the service Allow the install to complete and then install the latest McAfee Agent over the top The services start successfully after this. As a comment it seems totally wrong to be ignoring an error message on the install of somethi
