He changed a path and he doesnt remeber what its name was. He never saved it and closed the program.. The problem now is that we cant acces the server.. not even from the administrator tool. Now cant we even get the message anymore. It just says could not complete now... Edit: The error message was Error 1920. If not, please post the error details. Also, it would be helpful to know which version of Sharepoint you are using. If that will not start and gives an ERROR code 2 and says file not found... Make sure you have the folder C:\inetpub\temp\appPools It can be blank but this is where the TMP files are placed. When you reinstall IIS for some reason it doesnt recreate this folder when it recreates the inetpub directory .........

Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services". I already read some blogs here error 1920 service about this by my codes are almost identical but still this error keeps popping out. The weird thing about this is that when I first created this installer with almost the same code as below, this error is not happening during installation. Please help me guys I'm lost... :(
