Through Windows Disk management I wrote the signature, formatted and partitioned. But I am now unable to access the drive to move files onto it. It still shows up in the disk management. Are you trying to copy files from the drive with errors (L: ), and if so, are you sure the errors are in fact occurring on the destination drive (and not the source drive)?
