The IP given is for contoso, however it's correct in the DNS zone. https://geektechit.wordpress.com/2011/08/09/404-error-when-opening-httpcompanyweb/ Website: www.contoso.com64.4.6.100 AD Domain: contoso.com (I have always done the contoso.local, but now understand Microsoft is recommending internal.contoso.com as the best practice) I'm not looking to change it at this point since it's already set up that way. Accessing the company website (not locally hosted, it's on a hosting companies server) has worked since I have taken over support. In the DNS Forward lookup zone for contoso.com there is an entry pointing to the correct IP address of the website. https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/562190-404-error-when-trying-to-access-company-website It hasn't changed. www Host (A) 64.4.6.100 static Browsing to www.contoso.com on a company computer results in a 404 Not Found Error. The website content has been updated (major re-do) but the url and IP for the hosting server are exactly the same. I hope I have explained this properly. I'm obviously looking for some help about them being able to access their website from a company computer.
