Even if it were corrupt there is nothing that a user can do to resolve any corruption, short of replacing the file. So essentially there is nothing you need to do.. Also when it first detected some errors in beginning of the Boot Time Scan it asked what i wanted to do with them and i chose to Delete them.It did keep telling me it deleted the Virus. After it was done my system restarted and it took about two or three minutes before my Icons would show up on my screen.(I have had this problem for about 2 weeks now.) There was also a virus it detected and deleted (Trojan) and it would say that as well after each percentage of scanning it did. Should I find this and delete it or should I reinsert my Vista DVD and do a repair or can anyone suggest another fix? I don't want to reinstall my PC to factory settings but I have heard uninstalling IE is a real pain and can cause loads of problems.
