Error 500 12 Application Restarting
Application Restarting Internet Information Services' When users click on the 'refresh' button in the web browser, the MicroStrategy Web page is properly displayed. Users experience this issue on every MicroStrategy Web page. Selecting the refresh button of the web browser resolves this issue on each page. CAUSE: The issue has been seen in Microsoft Windows 2000 Server, using Internet Information System (IIS) as the Web Server, and in other applications running simultaneously with an accessed MicroStrategy Web page. For instance, a scanning program such as McAfee Virus Scan, could be running a check over the files in the web server. This process may interfere with the Web Server and cause it to report a reinitialization. WORKAROUND: Verify that no other application is running in addition to MicroStrategy Web at the time the error is reported. If another application is running, exit that application. Users should either disable the virus scanner or set the program to run during hours that do not conflict with the use of MicroStrategy Web. If the error appears after exiting the application that caused the interference, reset Microsoft IIS. Did this article solve your problem? Yes No (44 Views) TN4965: ’Page cannot be displayed. dbiner Guest I have been getting the subject message on all of my ASP enabled pages for four or five days now and can't seem to get rid of it. We rebooted the server once, which helped for a short time. Other websites on the server are fine, but mine refuses to load ASP. It is critical that I get our pages up again immediately. dbiner, Dec 23, 2004 #1 Advertisements Tom Pepper Willett Guest http://support.microsoft.com/kb/248013/EN-US/ -- === Tom "Pepper" Willett Microsoft MVP - FrontPage --- About FrontPage 2003: http://office.microsoft.com/home/office.aspx?assetid=FX01085802 FrontPage 2003 Product Information: http://www.microsoft.com/office/frontpage/prodinfo/default.mspx Understanding FrontPage: http://msdn.microsoft.com/office/understanding/frontpage/ === "dbiner" <> wrote in message news:... | I have been getting the subject message on all of my ASP enabled pages for | four or five days now and can't seem to get rid of it.
