Unanswered question This question has not been answered yet. Hi, I installed WPS5.1 and tested both Application server and Portal Server are working fine. However when I applied the cf 5.1.0.1 or 5.1.0.2 for Portal server, I can't login to the Portal Home anymore(http://localhost:9081/wps/portal). The installation went through fine without errors, and both WebSphere Application Server and Portal Server can starts without errors, WAS adminstrator console working fine too, but I got an error on loading the login page (Error 500 : Failed to load target servlet portal). Is it a dabase connection problems? I am using Cloudscape and do I need to do any config in the wpconfig.properties? The log file \PortalServer\log\System.out and \AppServer\logs\server1\systemout.log have been attached, thanx in advance! system.out Start Display Current Environment ************ WebSphere Platform 5.1 http://BASE 5.1.1.8 cf80548.03 http://JDK 1.4.2.3.1 pj9n142ifx-20051115 http://PME 5.1.1.3 cf30540.03 running with process name WDKPORTLET\WDKPORTLET\WebSphere_Portal and process id 2028 Host Operating System is Windows 2000, version 5.0 Java version = J2RE 1.4.2 IBM Windows 32 build cn142ifx-20051115 (SR3 + 94164 + 97403 + 97482) (JIT enabled: jitc), Java Compiler = jitc, Java VM name = Classic VM was.install.root = C:/WEBSPH~1/APPSER~1 user.install.root = C:/WEBSPH~1/APPSER~1 Java Home = C:\WEBSPH~1\APPSER~1\java\jre ws.ext.dirs = C:/WEBSPH~1/APPSER~1/java/lib;C:/WEBSPH~1/APPSER~1/classes;C:/WEBSPH~1/APPSER~1/classes;C:/WEBSPH~1/APPSER~1/lib;C:/WEBSPH~1/APPSER~1/lib/ext;C:/WEBSPH~1/APPSER~1/web/help;C:/WEBSPH~1/APPSER~1/deploytool/itp/plugins/com.ibm.etools.ejbdeploy/runtime;C:/WEBSPH~1/PORTAL~1/shared/ext;C:/WEBSPH~1/PORTAL~1/shared/ext/wp.collaborator.jar Classpath = C:/WEBSPH~1/APPSER~1/properties;C:/WEBSPH~1/APPSER~1/properties;C:/WEBSPH~1/APPSER~1/lib/bootstrap.jar;C:/WEBSPH~1/APPSER~1/lib/j2ee.jar;C:/WEBSPH~1/APPSER~1/lib/lmproxy.jar;C:/WEBSPH~1/APPSER~1/lib/urlprotocols.jar;C:/WEBSPH~1/PORTAL~1/shared/app/cloudscape/db2j.jar Java Library path = C:\WEBSPH~1\APPSER~1\java\bin;.;C:\WINNT
something obvious... I installed Tivoli Web Interface according to the installation guide on a Websphere 5.0.2. server. It is mapped to virtual host "default_host" which has aliases 9080, 80 and 9443 set. Therefore i modified the file D:\WebSphere\AppServer\installedApps\sapa\TivoliFRW_war.ear\TivoliFRW.war\WEB-INF\web.xml to match the https port. https-port 9443 Identifies port number used by HTTPS. Still i am getting "Error 500: Failed to load target https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/community/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=104741 servlet [userlink]" when making furies attempts to open URL http://sapa:9080/TivoliFRW/webapp Any ideas????????? -- Met vriendelijke groet/Kind regards, Peter van Nes Peter van Nes Consultancy B.V. tel+31 (0)652 694 792 fax+31 (0)84 747 6999 Thread at a glance: Previous Message by Date: Tony Thuy is on business travel.
