Error 721 comes up and I have to retry 3/4 times before it finally reconnects. I have a Thomson Speedtouch 330 modem at present connected to main socket, all sockets in house have filters. Haven't had time to play around since, so went back to the Speedtouch. Caused by the same problem?????????. They sent me a Speedtouch 330 USB Modem. I can't get it to work, the Tiscali CD is useless and Tiscali helpdesk are unable to support any queries about Vista. I managed to install a set of drivers from the web which appear to work since all the lights on the modem have gone solid green https://www.talktalkmembers.com/t5/Product-Archive/Error-721-Broadband-losing-connection/td-p/414054 and manually made a dial-up connection, However when I try to connect I get Error 721: server not responding. I think the problem must be in the set ups for the connection. Can anyone tell me what all the settings should be for a successful connection? I found a set of drivers on the web which worked no problem. I'd like to thank the person that created them (they weren't from any normal driver site), unfortunately I had downloaded so many things by that time that I can't remember where I got them from. I had to install twice before they worked and then manually set up a dial-up connection using the Vista Wizard. However the Speedtouch turned out to work only when connected to the main phone point. Assuming you are error 721 speedtouch referring to a SpeedTouch 330 mine worked straight out of the box (on Demon) with the supplied drivers. Up and working in less than 10 minutes. Never had a problem since. I'm not tempted to download the drivers you suggest as I am a great believe in "if it ain't broke don't mend it." -- meagol }}}}} Lakeuk Reply With Quote 12-17, 05:40 PM #2 Re: Demon Home500 - Error 721 - solved2 "Lakeuk"
