Master 2,961 Answers Re: error creating dec3.cfg You need to check in add/remove programmes and make sure all previous elements of norton are uninstalled first, then run a registry clean up, it should then install, but be aware a 2004 version may not be compatable with your current operating system version as it's over 3 years old and outdated.
