I on various attempts have tried playing this game but it doesn't work. This has happened to me on other games too (Over 9000 Zombies, Magicite, Risk of Rain). I even tried uninstalling and that process but the same thing happened. These are from different games, but the error message is the same: "You could try setting the "-windowed" launch option.
