When I click the browse button the following error message occurs: Error creating folder "redirect:/index.php/image/" (Can't create redirect: directory) is it due to URL rewrite? how can I fix it? please help. Thanks and Regards Log in or register to post comments ⋅ Categories: Drupal 6.x Comments https://www.drupal.org/node/284309 It's in the documentation mvc commented May 28, 2009 at 5:25pm This error message is mentioned in the file TROUBLESHOOTING.txt which is distributed with the Drupal wrapper module for FCKeditor. Here is the suggestion from that file: This error appears when trying to use the built-in file browser in FCKeditor and is caused by invalid $Config['UserFilesAbsolutePath'] in FCKeditor configuration file. The reason of https://www.drupal.org/node/434042 such message may be tricky, it usually means that you didn't follow the instructions from README.txt strictly (see "How to enable the file browser" section). Usually it is enough to check these two things: make sure that filemanager.config.php is included in the FCKeditor configuration file exactly in the place where the instruction says uncomment $cookie_domain variable in settings.php and set it to the right value Log in or register to post comments Thanks for the reply. When I click on "Send it to the server", I get this error:Error creating folder "/files/" (Can't create directory). The problem is, this directory doesn't need to be created. I'm using Drupal 5.5 with FCKEditor 2.5.1. Drupal is installed under a /members subdirectory, and my uploaded files directory is /members/files, which already exists. As far as I can tell, I have the config.php settings error creating folder correct:global $Config ; // SECURITY: You must explicitly enable this "connector". (Set it to "true"). // WARNING: don't just set "$Config['Enabled'] = true ;", you must be sure that only // authenticated users can access this file or use some kind of session checking. $Config['Enabled'] = true ; // Path to user files relative to the document root. $Config['UserFilesPath'] = '/files/' ; // Fill the following value it you prefer to specify the absolute path for the // user files directory. Useful if you are using a virtual directory, symbolic // link or alias. Examples: 'C:\\MySite\\userfiles\\' or '/root/mysite/userfiles/'. // Attention: The above 'UserFilesPath' must point to the same directory. $Config['UserFilesAbsolutePath'] = '/files/' ;So I can't determine why it's trying to create a folder that already exists and that has 777 permissions on it. Can anyone tell me how to get around this so I can upload files? Thanks. Have you tried adjusting your base path? Top Thu, 02/14/2008 - 00:54 #3 wonder95 Joined: 12/02/2008 Posts: 3 Re: "Error creating folder" error uploading image I figured it out. I had to adjust my absolute url. Once I did that, I was able to upload to the server fine. Top Wed, 03/12/2008 - 22:21
