Brawner Junior Member 08-12-2010 Hello fellow LOLers and moderator(s), There are several posts floating around the forums concerning this issue: After downloading the original small file to start the LOL downloader, an error occurs, displaying the message "Error creating installation directory." It seems to happen to people running on XP through 7, and while some people have been able to fix the problem, I have not. This error occurs on almost any MMORPG that uses Pando Media Booster. I currently do not have the program installed, and cannot seem to find a way to install it. This error occured with DDO, Allods, Maplestory and various other free MMORPGS that I tried for testing. Pando has no way to solve this posted on their site, and I have thoroughly scoured the Google for a solution. There seems to be no such solution apart from reformatting your hard drive, which is a fairly terrible "solution." There must be a way to fix this. Downloading a new standalone client every day or two is even more of an incredulous solution to a seemingly simple problem. We really need an alternate method of connecting to LOL w/o the normal down-loader (like a simple executable setup downloaded in normal fashion), or a definitive solution to this problem. There needs to be a stickied post about this, since it seems to
