Submit Posted by yms_2009 on 9/1/2015 at 7:48 PM Clarification, I was building a Win Phone 8.1 project, so VS2015 was probably using the compiler from VS2013 Update 5 behind the scenes. Posted by yms_2009 on 9/1/2015 at 7:47 PM This issue is still present in Visual Studio 2015 (final release). Just try to build the freetype library version 2.5+ in ARM mode and you will get this error on the file afcjk.c. Posted by Microsoft on 4/24/2015 at 9:57 AM With the upcoming RC build of VS2015 I'm able to build both QT 4.8.4 and 5.4.1. Since this is not a compiler that's officially supported by QT yet, there are a few small source changes that need to be made, mostly in 3rd party libraries that QT tools depend on. These are primarily removing workarounds for older versions of the VC++ compiler.Jonathan EmmettDeveloper - Visual C++joemmett@microsoft.com Posted by Microsoft

Submit Posted by altendky on 7/31/2016 at 8:26 AM Is there somewhere that I can get an old version of the 'Visual C++ Build Tools 2015' until they are updated? I looked around but did not find any links to archived installers. Thanks for any help you can offer.Cheers,-kyle Posted by Microsoft on 7/22/2016 at 12:29 PM Apologies for the delay, but I can now confirm that this fix will be released in the next upcoming patch to Visual Studio 2015, currently scheduled for 2 August.Jonathan EmmettDeveloper - Visual C++joemmett@microsoft.com Posted by Andrey-T on 6/30/2016 at 4:18 PM I'm getting exactly the same error in exactly the same line of 'msc1.cpp'. The code that thrieggers the error is very similar (an new[]-expression). The code that triggers the
