I used the ISO from Ubuntu.com and the burner from pendrivelinux.com. When the program starts writing to the flash drive, there is an error displayed that says : "0 can not open output file E:\autorun.inf" But continues to write data. After it has finished, I remove the drive and insert to the other computer and turn it on, but it never finds a drive to boot from. What is causing this problem and how can I fix it ? installation boot usb share|improve this question edited Dec 19 '13 at 7:21 user224082 asked Dec 19 '13 at 5:44 user226881 112 add a comment| 2 Answers 2 active oldest votes up vote 1 down vote Run the PenDriveLinux USB Installer tool as adminstrator. Try disabling it. share|improve this answer edited Aug 20 '14 at 16:49 Andrea Corbellini 8,91713154 answered Aug 20 '14 at 15:38 REVO 1 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google Sign up using Facebook Sign up using Email and Password Post as a guest Name Email Post as a guest Name Email discard By posting your answer, you agree to the privacy policy and terms of service.
