million records. I've created a SQL script which copies this data into same tables (basically it's a script to generate more data). I've tested the script it runs fine for small data (10k records). When I tried it to copy all data, it throws an error: An error occurred while executing batch. When some app on your machine have memory leaks - you can run out of handles and this error occurs. Current state of handles can be seen in Task Manager (Handle Count) As said in comments - it's a client side issue. For example large resultsets/query output to grid may end up to this error. Solution: Reboot your PC, minimize the output of query. Also you can try to launch script via SQLC

It does happes that Handles are a limmited pool also and when you load many apps on your pc and one of them either have memory leaks of mis handle the handles :D you can run out of them. If this was on your local workstation a good old reboot will take you back to normal operating conditions.

This occurs only to certain users. Its very random and cannot be reproduced in the development error creating environment. I have an applicatin error logger which shows this error occuring (in the stack trace dump) but it again occurs at different locations in the code and occurs inconsistently. My application is a windows forms application, with multiple instances of same MDI form created and then run simultaneously. If anyone knows why it occurs or what can error creating window be done to prevent it, please advice. This sounds like one of those really horrible ones.
