use autotrace. I have created user and graned him plustrace role, ora-06512 select any table, select any sequence, roles connect and select_any_catalog. For example, I have a plan_table created and a public synonym on it. A normal user does not have privileges on these tables. that is why you getting this error. try a select on one of your owned tables.
