I included a JAR file that had an AndroidManifest.xml file in it, which was conflicting with my own project's AndroidManifest.xml file. The solution in my instance was to rebuild the JAR file, making sure it excluded its own version of AndroidManifest.xml, then to re-include the new version of the JAR file into my project. You might need to clean the project after doing this. share|improve this answer answered Nov 27 '10 at 18:56 Matt Huggins 28.4k1899176 good to know, esp when having to include the project as a jar for test project - dtmilano.blogspot.com/2009/12/… –scottyab Mar 16 '11 at 16:53 3 How did you exclude AndroidManifest.xml when rebuilding the jar file? –Phillip Nov 23 '11 at 6:20 3 My solution was to delete the manifest from the original app. This caused an error but I di

I just recreated the .jar file excluding the manifest, download the new file (v2.0.8) and give it a try: releases-section share|improve this answer answered Mar 15 '15 at 17:15 Philipp Jahoda 24.9k1176100 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google Sign up using Facebook Sign up using Email and Password Post as a guest Name Email Post as a guest Name Email discard By posting your answer, you agree to the privacy policy and terms of service. I have tried the solution of putting the JAR in the libs folder and adding it to my build path (and even moving it to the top), however this in turn generates the Error generating final archive: Found duplicate file for APK: libs/gdx.jar error. Visually: [JAR not in Android path]: Android Project -> Java Project -> Jar -> NoClassDefFoundError [JAR in Android path]: Android Project -> Java Project -> JAR -> Duplicate file for APK Error Specifically, this is a LibGDX project. When trying to generate the final archive I get the above error. While exporting the JAR I excluded AndroidManifest.xml. I tried cleaning the project and removing ic_launcher.png from the JAR but then I received an error when trying to build the JAR. If two files have the same name it means they have same id which leads to conflict. –Dmytro Danylyk Jun 30 '14 at 7:49 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google Sign up using Facebook Sign up using Email and Password Post as a guest Name Email Post as a guest Name Email discard By posting your answer, you agree to the privacy policy and terms of service.
