Space in use: 5361 MB (13.4%) Collecting shrinkage constrains... Estimating smallest shrunken size supported... File feature Last used at By inode $MFT : 19539MB 0 Multi-Record : 36068MB 9 You might resize at (....) bytes or 5361MB (freeing 34688 MB). Please make a test run using both the -n and -s options before real resizing! ~# ~#ntfsresize -ns /dev/hda1 7000 MB ntfsresize v1.9.4 ERROR: Illegal new volume size ~# I tried to enter more space, diverse numbers up to 36000 with the same result. However, none of them seem to be an answer. I'm sure the problem is simple and that I'm just too tired to figure it out, but I dunno what my mistake is.
