What is https://www.ruby-forum.com/topic/184917 your ruby version? I suspect it is too old. Try with 1.8.6. I have ruby 2.0.0 installed and have the most up to date rubygems installed as well. I'm using xcode 4.6.3. when I try to install Jekyll I get an error that reads: Building native extensions. This could take a while...
