Since I had downloaded my version of Peachtree 2012, this was found atC:\Sage\Peachtree2012\PervasiveMin\PervasivePSQLv10WGE_x86The standalone Pervasive installation then presented me with error code 1327 and reported that the z:\ drive was inaccessible. My MyDocuments folder is located on a server and that folder was not accessible at that moment. This is odd since neither Peachtree's application nor Peachtree's data are located on that folder, but somehow Pervasive found it to be critically important to have access to my MyDocs folder.Anyway, this solved my problem and may help someone in the future.
