I have added the header file using this path: project's Properties (in C/C++ -> General -> Additional Include Directories) Also i have linked the library using this path: Project Properties -> Linker -> Input -> error lnk2019 unresolved external symbol __declspec(dllimport) Additional Dependencies. But while debugging, i get the following errors: 1>sil.obj : warning LNK4075: ignoring '/EDITANDCONTINUE' due to '/INCREMENTAL:NO' specification 1>sil.obj : error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol _sf_write_sync referenced in function _main 1>sil.obj : error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol _sf_write_double referenced in function _main 1>sil.obj : error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol _sf_close referenced in function _main 1>sil.obj : error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol _sf_read_double referenced in function _main 1>sil.obj : error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol _sf_open referenced in function _main 1>c:\users\anam\documents\visual studio 2010\Projects\silence\Debug\silence.exe : fatal error LNK1120: 5 unresolved externals Can someone please identify the problem here? I would recommend you check the symbols contained in the .lib file you're trying to link to with the following command: dumpbin.exe -headers libsndfile.lib. Issue that command in the "Visual Studio Command Prompt" and take a look at the resulting output. Check to make sure the exact symbols you're trying to link to are contained there (including the leading underscor

example by fabienL » Wed Sep 09, 2015 10:42 am Hi guys,I use the ps2000a SDK stable version to recover data with my picoscope 2208A. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/23276399/error-lnk2019-unresolved-external-symbol-error-in-visual-studio-2010 I would to use the C code example so I follow instructions in this file * To build this application: * Set up a project for a 32-bit console mode application * Add this file to the project * Add PS2000A.lib to the project * Add ps2000aApi.h and picoStatus.h to the https://www.picotech.com/support/topic19311.html project * Build the project*I created a 32-bit console application project on visual C++ 2008 and I add required files. I have indicated the library path on project properties like this : Project Properties -> Linker -> Input -> Additional Dependencies. Project Properties -> Linker -> General -> Additional Library Directory. But when I build the project, he compile, but there is many link errors. I saw that is in link with the ps2000a.lib but i don't understand how to fix that... So if someone have an idea thank in advance.Regards,Fabien L.
