I have set up a email account through aol.com with our business name which I want to use to send invoices by web mail. I continue to get an error message saying "We were unable to connect to the email server for your email provider." For testing purposes I added my personal comcast.net email to see if it would send an invoice through it. My personal comcast.net email worked perfectly. I have tried disabling the firewall, sending an email from my personal email to business email to see if it would go through (it did), restoring Internet explorer advanced settings, unchecking and checking SSL checkbox. I am using smtp.aol.com for address and 587 for port. Have also tried 465 for port. Nothing has worked. Please help. 12 comments × Close Why do you want to report this?
