The same is also true of status, warning, and error messages. Most theme developers just leave drupal's standard error message styling. Which, actually, isn't very eye-catching for a message that Drupal wants the user to see. I've got some styles whipped up with little icons. They are eye-catching and yet shouldn't clash with most site's styles. And if they do conflict with a site's colors, I'll include the PSD so you can tweak it. :-)Files: CommentFileSizeAuthor #9 Picture 2.png15.3 change error message KBrport #9 Picture 3.png10.72 KBrport #9 Picture 4.png13.03 KBrport #2 message-icon.png1.71 KBGarrett Albright #2 message-improvements.patch711 bytesGarrett Albright Comments Comment #1 JohnAlbin CreditAttribution: JohnAlbin commented September 15, 2008 at 10:37am Component: Code ยป IE Problems PNG-32 versions have been committed. This patch makes it stay in the upper-left corner now matter how large the box is. Also, when all the text is italicized, placeholder text in tags no longer stands out. This patch makes that text bold. Yes, it's a bit of an oddity to embolden text in an tag instead of italicize it, but it works.
