Sometimes we use a custom validator control instead of other controls to implement our custom logic to validate user input. We use the ErrorMessage property to display the error message. Assume you get a requirement to display the error message dynamically. Then it will not help to implement it directly (we need to implement it in code behind, not in the aspx page). So we need a way to display the dynamic error message. It can be implemented in one of the following two ways: 1. Using JavaScript 2. I added 2 custom validators that were working, after a composer update they throw the same error listed above. Wixel Development Team member SeanNieuwoudt commented Dec 2, 2014 Apologies guys, I will fix this first thing in the morning. Sean kozachenko commented Dec 9, 2014 If you replace: $result = $this->$method($field, $input, $param); to //$result = $this->$method($field, $input, $param); if($result===false){ $result=array( 'field' => $field, 'value' => $input[$field], 'rule' => FUNCTION, 'param' => $param ); on gump.class.php:360 all is gonna be allright. It solved that problem for me. That line seems unnecessary there. suntrop commented Dec 18, 2014 I got that error message too.
