Error Message In Excel Cannot Shift Objects Off Sheet
in to vote Hi, I work for my company's IT department. We currently have an intermittent issue with Excel error message excel ran out of resources 2010. When our Finance team open an Excel .xlsx document from a shared drive they occasionally get an error message when they try to save saying "Document Not Saved". The https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/214073 file menu normally freezes and the only way to get to the save button again is to add it as a quick access shortcut. Then on occasions it will let the user save to their local desktop. On other occasions it won't let them save anywhere. The only fixes that I have found for this are to save files on https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/office/en-US/29c6e07a-41ad-4390-957e-2bc54e5cf5a4/document-not-saved-error-excel-microsoft-office-professional-plus-2010-32bit-14060291000?forum=excel a local drive rather than the network which is not a fix. I also found a hotfix here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/983458/en-gb but this doesn't apply to our server. We run a terminal environment using Citrix with Windows Servers 2008 r2. Our users connect onto one of the Windows Server 2008 r2 servers through Citrix. They then open files from our file server which is another Windows Server 2008 r2 server. The version of office is Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 32-bit 14.0.6029.1000. Is anybody able to help with this please? (I once heard other customer is encountered the similar problem when he upload/download Excel file from share folder through Wireless. Please perform your testing via cable.) Anyway, most of users solve this kind of issue by co

Searched the MS KB briefly but couldn't find the source of the problem. Any ideas? From MS "Document not saved," or "Document not completely saved" The process was interrupted while creating the temporary file because you pressed ESC, (you know you did - don't blame us!) there was some hardware or software failure (yup...yours!), or there was another media problem (that was probably LINUX related...). The original file is still intact and ,unless your computer or workstation failed, the version of the file containing your current changes is still open in memory (Where in memory we can't tell you...). Save the file to an alternate drive. If your computer or workstation did fail, you can use the original file. (Note that any changes made in the last revision will be lost.) Nice of them to run Grammar Check on their own stuff... See if your IS Department "can't" help you. (Ours is "affectionately" called "US - Useless Services").
