Mar 18, 2011 05:04 PM|AlexDinu|LINK I've upgraded an .net 2.0 web application to .net 4.0 and I'm trying to setu it up on a new 2003 server. I can run the solution fine in it's own dev server, but when I deploy to IIS, I get the following: HTTP Error 401.2 - Unauthorized: Access is denied error message 401.2 due to server configuration. Internet Information Services (IIS) I need to run it in integrated windows authentication. When I add some logging to my main page, default.aspx, I see that I'm hitting gloabal.asax but it won't load the other aspx pages in my frameset. I don't think it create a cookie either. I know this is something to do with permissions, but I can't put my finger on it. Alex Reply owjeff 680 Posts Re: HTTP Error 401.2 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to server configuration.
