Back to top Report #2 Ivica Ivica Advanced Member Moderators 565 posts Posted 12 July 2012 - 08:48 AM There was no way to set encryption type in outbound SMTP settings, and I fixed this issue, by allowing admins to enter encryption type(allowed values are '', 'ssl' and 'tls'). This code will be part of next Zurmo stable release(which we will release in next few days), but if you are using Mercurial you can get current bleeding version of Zurmo and be able to use Gmal SMTP server. Port is related to encryption which you are using, so if you are using 'ssl' you must use port 465, and if you are using 'tls' encryption, you must use port 58

One of them is complaining that a good chunk of their client is calling to say that they are receiving the: 530 5.7.0 Must issue a http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=814325&start=30 STARTTLS command first "error" when trying to send them an email. This is a new client and they never had this problem before with the other hosting company they were error message with. I tried to search online and did some changes, but it still not working. Here are the details: This is the mail.log when the person tries to send an email to my server: Code: Jun 2 13:36:20 [hostname] postfix/submission/smtpd[17318]: connect from smtp-poa-92-36.uni5.net[189.38.92.36] Jun 2 13:36:21 [hostname] postfix/submission/smtpd[17318]: disconnect from smtp-poa-92-36.uni5.net[189.38.92.36] This is the email the person receives back error message 530 from their ISP/Mail Server: Code: This is the mail system at host smtp-poa-92-158.uni5.net.
