CICERO UI Wnd Frame Started by Cowman109 , Apr 12 2006 07:05 PM Page 1 of 2 1 2 Next Please log in to reply #1 Cowman109 Posted 12 April http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/topic/107762-cicero-ui-wnd-frame/ 2006 - 07:05 PM Cowman109 Member Member 19 posts When I shutdown windows, I am suddenly getting a notice that some file along the lines of CICERO UI Wnd Frame has failed to shut down, so Windows asks whether I would like to end the task or not. I found this suspicious and can find little mention of it from other sources, so I came here to see if it was anything affecting my system. Adaware and Spybot have come up with nothing. I've had performance issues with Ewido in the past, so that would be my last option. Here is a HJT log. Thanks in advance!Edit: It appears after a reset this error mysteriously no long appears, though I would still appreciate a quick lookover of the HJT log to see if anything looks fishy. The message C:\DocumentsAndSettings\Cicero\Desktop\WinRar.exe.'. FOR some reason says desktop but the folder where I am actually extracting from is not on my desktop , here is where it is located C:\Documents and Settings\Cicero\My Documents\Downloads\Baja_Edge_Of_Control_USA. The error message is reffering to a completely differant place. Please help aaronhare, Nov 12, 2008 #3 JeffM Joined: Oct 14, 2008 Messages: 176 have you actually installed it ? Or do you just run it from there when you need it?EASIEST thing to do would be to Install it afresh and let it set up where it wants to (Usually Program Files ) and let it reassociate itself with the files itself. then you wont have a problem JeffM, Nov 13, 2008 #4 Lucky5tar Joined: Aug 2, 2008 Messages: 279 Reinstall WinRAR Lucky5tar, Nov 13, 2008 #5 JeffM Joined: Oct 14, 2008 Messages: 176 yes but let it do its thing and go autmatically to C drive \Program Files\Winrar and the desktop shortcut will point straight to it , but as a SHORTCUT , NOT AN EXE. And it should in no way at all , be in MY DOCUMENTS JeffM, Nov 13, 2008 #6 Sponsor This thread has been Locked and is not open to further replies.
