can save the file as txt with UTF 8 encoding and rename it as csv to retain the JP characters. This is where the problem occurs. When I import this data, I get the error message: The spl character is not seen in the txt or csv file. Can you provide a subset of your data that reproduces the error? –cdeterman Aug 25 '15 at 12:40 Real dataset has :1221 rows and 60 columns. Dont know if that has something to do with it. –user41509 Aug 25 '15 at 12:46 You overwrote the subset. Just put it in the question above.
