I'm building a Drupal 7 site with Ubercart, only the second Ubercart installation I've built (the other one was 4 years ago). I'm using PayPal express checkout and the sandbox server for testing (although I got the same results using the live server and live API credentials). When I try to checkout I keep getting the error message "PayPal reported an error: 10401: Order total is invalid." I can't figure out for the life of me what is going wrong and Google hasn't been any help. I did find this forum topic: www.ubercart.org/forum/support/17889/paypal_checkout_failing_10401_order..., but that info seems to be outdated with this version of Drupal/Ubercart. Sorry if I'm not providing enough info, I really don't know where to start with this but I'm happy to give more details if anyone can point me in the right direction. Thanks. Does this happen for all orders? Are you using inclusive taxes, or any contrib modules that add line items such as coupons? No matter how many I had in my cart I kept getting the same error message, for all orders. There were no taxes and no contrib modules, it was just a fairly straightforward Ubercart install. I've actually kind of given up for now and am trying Commerce as this site has a looming deadline. Sorry, if I get a chance to reproduce it I will give you more info

My PayPal is personal account and went into the PayPal to access the Express Checkout IPN stuff and copy/paste it into the Zen Cart Module Configuration ... but I think I am missing something because of this error message when performing purchase. Would someone kindly advise. It appears my issue was my fault! I accept responsibility for my experience. It appears I did not fully configure the PayPal Express Checkout ... missed the part where I had to Turn ON PayPal IPN and use tell it, my paypal account, proper URL. I wasn't expecting this and overlooked it. 3. In your PayPal account, enable Instant Payment Notification: under "Profile", select Instant Payment Notification Preferences * click the checkbox to enable IPN * if there is not already a URL speci

If a customer puts a product or products in their cart with money due and then uses our current coupon code (our site gives a $5 discount to customers that like our facebook page) then we are having issues with the module when that customer has a zero balance due. The module is taking them to paypal for payment, rather then removing the payment choices and processing it as a free order. When that happens we are getting an error message for "Order Total is Invalid". Here is the actual error message. A client has encountered a problem with the module PayPalAPI, see the report: PayPal response:TIMESTAMP -> 2011-09-14T16:14:18ZL_ERRORCODE0 -> 10401L_SHORTMESSAGE0 -> Transaction refused because of an invalid argument.
