There are lots of other people that do that anyway, so Microsoft stays well-informed of their problems without you and I volunteering our time to help them out. Good news! You don't have to do that any longer. Here's how to disable it: 1. Click Start 2. Right-click on My Computer and choose Properties 3. Click the “Advanced” tab 4. Click the “Error Reporting” button 5. Check “Disable error reporting”, but also check “But notify me when critical errors occur” Click OK twice, and don’t be bothered by that error message any more! Oh, did I mention that the animal guy brought a hyperactive chimpanzee with him? You can get my computer tips by email, or by RSS. (what is RSS?)

Danny B June 24th, 2008 Scott, Would it be possible for you to flag your tips with information on whether they apply to Windows XP, Vista, W2K, Win9x, just some of these versions, or all versions of Windows?
