Then, the operating system prompts you to send an error report to Microsoft. You can avoid having to click the Don't Send button by disabling Error Reporting. Here's how: 1. Press [Windows][Break] to display the System Properties dialog box. 2. Select the Advanced tab and click the Error Reporting button. 3. When you see the Error Reporting dialog box, select the Disable Error Reporting option. (If you don't want to see any type of error message, clear the But Notify Me When Critical Errors Occur check box.) 4. Click OK twice — once to close the Error Report

Never got this unless the phone rebooted itself randomly, and never before the latest update. Anyone else? Lookout is not really a necessary app unless you like to install weird obscure apps. does the report give you an actual "reason"? you can go into your settings and turn off "Send reports to HTC".... ocnbrze, PattiCakeUS and CyreneK like this. Aug 31, 2012 #2 84guy Well-Known Member Joined: Feb 25, 2010 Messages: 126 Likes Received: 46 Its because holding the power button for 10 seconds is a "hard" reboot (like a battery pull) so it's not a normal reboot, ive got that error before the latest update but not all the time by doing it that way, for a normal reboot hold the power button till you see the menu and press reboot marctronixx and Rxpert83 like this. For some reason the stock Rom has a way of recognizing an abnormal reboot and tries to send an error log to HTC. I see it all the time, I just clear it out and never send. I'm not sure if I get that when I hard reset it tho....can't remember.
