(Very Simple) And all I want to do is to be able to execute it without using an IDE. I've created a jar file, and an exectuable jar file. When I double click the exe jar file, nothing happens, and when I try to use the command in cmd it gives me this: Error: Unable To Access Jar File. I will provide the code and the command I'm using. I am using Eclipse as my IDE, and I use the command: java -jar Calculator.jar How I created the Jar: 1.Right click on Project Folder (Calculator) 2.Select Export 3.Click on Java Folder and select Exectuable Jar File then select next 4.Launch Configuration: Main - Calculator 5.Create Export Destination 6.Hit Finish and Profit! Well, not really. java eclipse jar executable-jar share|improve this question edited Oct 12 '15 at 13:04 gturri 4,77451937 asked Aug 14 '12 at 0:01 Joseph Smith 4932716 1 Sounds like the Jar is corrupt in some way, possibly missing the Manifest entry. –MadProgrammer Aug 14 '12 at 0:04 You should show how you created the JARs, what's in them and how you try to run the program. The Java code is irrelevant here. –Jochen Aug 14 '12 at 0:11 Have you tried relaunching elcipse and recompiling? Sometimes Eclipse has does some strange things that can be avoided by relaunching. –MattS Aug 14 '12 at 0:12 I find the code difficult to read and think about. And what's the point of having everything in a static main function and having a single instance method to clear the console? –Dave Newton Aug 14 '12 at 0:20 MadProgrammer: How can I fix this? Jochen: Will Do. I'll edit it now. MattS: Yes i've tried that multiple times Dave: Because I
the server will kill the transcode process. My guess is that the CPU or RAM is limiting it - we are using a Sempron 140 and 1 GB of generic RAM. My friend has ordered a 2 GB stick, but it isn't here yet. In the meantime we have been playing with these settings in the PMS.conf file, but haven't found just the right numbers yet. Can anyone explain what exactly they mean?mencoder_encode = keyint=3:vqscale=3:vqmin=5I've tried 1,1,2 as well as 3,3,5 and even 10,10,15 just to get crazy. The latter lasted the longest, but there was a noticeable drop in quality as well as a huge audio out-of-sync problem. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/11943948/error-unable-to-access-jar-file Compass: --- Quote from: IG82 on March 13, 2010, 08:26:51 AM ------ Quote from: PCRx on March 13, 2010, 07:28:55 AM ---Unable to access jarfile /boot/custom/ps3ms/pms.jar--- End quote ---Have you checked the file exists in your ps3ms folder? I have HDHR Viewer v2 working on this unit. I am trying to incorporate xmltv.xml. error unable I have followed the directions on zap2xml and created a xmltv.xml file which I have stored on the NAS in /volume1/homes/xmltv.xml. In the HDHR Viewer V2 settings I enabled XMLTV (restapi). I then enter the location of the xmltv.xml file as above. When I do this HDHR Viewer V2 can no longer find channels. When I disable this (or set it to Files(future). The channels are accessible. What am I doing wrong? Thanks. 0 hychiang Posts: error unable to 21Members, Plex Pass Plex Pass September 2015 @SiscoPlex said: Best plugin ever..... works flawlessly on a win7 server using pms Version 0.9.12.11 streaming remotely to chrome, android, fireTV and roku. locally to androids, chrome roku and fireTV. Love the grouping and searchabilty with this plugin!!! TOP NOTCH LADS!!!! Thanks for the kudos. Still lots to do - here's a sneak peek of what should be possible: favorites grouping determined by category (e.g. sports), or by search term (e.g. football) a true channel guide (and not only a display of "what's on right now" ** note, this one will be a bit kludgy due to the limitations of the plex channel ui, as well as how the client renders it being able to search further into the future (ie, searching for "big bang theory", and seeing that it will be on channel X in 45 mins) using the zap2xml icon for the show itself creating favorites icon bundles (think this one we can crowdsource so that the burden isn't on any one person to tackle) Unfortunately, dev's going to be slow for a bit - combination of being tied up with work and a desire/need for a revamp of the codebase again. (overall that code lasted for about 2 weeks before the rewrite itch came :) ). Keep on sending over the feature requests
