The catalog and category pages display fine (with the except of the includes/configure.php permissions warning noted in another thread). However, if I click on a one of the sample products or subcategories, I receive the following error: http://www.loadedcommerce.com/community/forums/topic/error-unable-to-determine-the-page-link/ "Error! Unable to determine the page link!" The header and left column display fine. However, the right column does not, nor does the product or subcategory info. On the product pages, the error appears below the left column. On the subcategory pages, the error is displayed in the middle of the page in what looks to be the subcategory description box. So far, all of the other pages appear to display fine. The error message only appears on the product pages and subcategory pages. Any idea what is causing this? THe problem doe snot occur when SE friendly URLs are turned off. Also, I discovered from my host that since I am located in a temporary position, I am operating with suPHP. (I don't know what that means other than it is not the normal PHP.) I have asked them if this problem would be caused by the suPHP. Does anyone know? I received the following reply from my web host: "You must remove the following, or comment it out in your /public_htm

There are several reasons why this is happening but not enough details in your question to drill down. The first thing you should do is check the admin errorlog. There is some data missing from the tep_href_link function. Specifically, the page to which it is linking. The form should be... tep_href_link($page = '', $parameters = '', $connection = 'NONSSL') So, your error makes perfect sense... You're not linking to anything (first parameter). You might check this link to see if anything sounds familiar... http://forums.oscommerce.com/topic/311723-unable-to-determine-the-page-linkfunction-used-tep-href-link-nonssl/ share|improve this answer answered Sep 8 '14 at 20:44 ndiggity 1738 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google Sign up using Facebook Sign up using Email and Password Post as a guest Name Email Post as a guest Name Email discard By posting your answer, you agree to the privacy policy and terms of service.
