I'm using one of those Belkin Wireless G USB Network Adapter things. It's always been fine in Vista, so I know neither it, nor my router are faulty. I've tried installing the Belkin Wireless Utility (Which in my experience has always been one of the worst bits of kits ever made.) which also instals the drivers, but no luck. In Vista, I never installed it, I simply plugged in the USB dongle and made Windows search the CD for the drivers. Windows 7 won't find them for me. I really don't know much about networking, so idiot proof advice is needed!! Thanks!! Unable to load the My Wifi Technology DLL file paddyo Jul 5, 2011 11:12 AM Sorry for starting a thread similar to an existing one, but it seems the old one is not being monitored, so I have deleted my message there and started a new one.I am seeing this DLL error message when starting WiDi. error unable I have a Lenovo T420, i5-2520, Win 7 Pro 64. I have tried both the latest version of Pro Set and Widi from Intel downloads as well as the recommended versions supplied on the Lenovo site.I have uninstalled and reinstalled the components in the manner recommended by shashi in the other thread, but with the same results. The My Wifi product itself works fine, but Widi can't seem to error unable to load the DLL. Is this possibly the result of a conflicting Windows update that makes things stop working? I am ready for troubleshooting - where do I start? Which DLL is WiDi looking for (what is the filename)? Would it help to manually register this DLL file? Both wifi miniports do show up in my network connections, one of which connects when I enable My Wifi. Thanks!
