Every time I start my computer I get this error. I http://stackoverflow.com/questions/15757406/cannot-find-the-class-file-for-java-lang-object hit the ok and the computer works as though nothing has happened. It doesn't stop me from doing anything that I've noticed yet. I've recently installed Microsoft Office and my email was switched from Outlook Express to Microsoft Outlook. I found this error on the searches but it was for the windows 98 version. I tried the https://forums.techguy.org/threads/resolved-wj-view-error-unable-to-locate-system-class-java-object.166871/ resolution that was suggested with the start, run ms config , ok, start up tab but I received an error for this. I hope you can help. Thanks beaches, Sep 23, 2003 #1 Sponsor Rollin' Rog Joined: Dec 9, 2000 Messages: 45,855 You've got a spy/adware install doing that, probably others as well.
