Uploading from back end works fine. Can you please help me out? I'm using Joomla 1.5.25 and JCE 2.0.21. Accepted Answer Admin Ryan Offline Friday, March 16 2012, 03:36 PM - #permalink I can't find anything to conclusively indicate what the cause of the issue is except to say that the PHP function move_uploaded_file does not appear to be working - this is only happening in the front-end and is affecting the Joomla! Media Manager upload function too. The only thing that catches my eye is that there is not specific upload_tmp_dir value set in the PHP configuration - check with your host to see if a value should be set for this. I checked them and I cannot see anything that could make troubles. I'm also using sh404SEF - if you think that this might cause the conflict, what should I choose for configuration? Right now settings for JCE in sh404SEF are default. I've tested in Firefox and Safari, there is no difference. Do you want me to test it from IE and Chrome?
