In"Programs and Features"-"View installed updates" - there's no entry ! I checked the article: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc756240(WS.10).aspx with no luck. help appreciated Thanks Friday, May 07, 2010 7:22 AM Reply | Quote Answers 0 Sign in to vote Hi, KB948465 is Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2. I suggest downloading it from the following site: 32bit: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=891ab806-2431-4d00-afa3-99ff6f22448d 64bit: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=8ad69826-03d4-488c-8f26-074800c55bc3 Then restart the computer, keep pressing F8 to enter Safe Mode and then install the downloaded package. If any error appears please let me know. If the package cannot be installed in Safe Mode, restart the computer back to normal mode and then run System File Check: 1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow. 2. At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER: sfc /scannow Then install SP2 again. If the issue still cannot be resolved, I suggest further discussing it in our Windows Vista Service Packs/Windows Server 2008 Service Packs forum: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/itprovistasp/threads Hope it helps.
