Monitor an unlimited number of servers with $49/year With the current low prices for servers and the need for processing power, even a small company may end up with quite a few of them. If ten years ago it was still common to http://www.eventid.net/display-eventid-29-source-W32Time-eventno-1524-phase-1.htm see an entire company using just one server, these days that's no longer the case. New computers are added to the network with the understanding that they will be taken care of by the admins. Keeping an eye https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/23957572/W32Time-Error-Event-ID-29-NtpClient-has-no-source-of-accurate-time.html on these servers is a tedious, time-consuming process. Comments: Anonymous See the information about event viewer error this event in this article: EV100160. x 113 Anonymous I my case I noticed that the local w32time service was not synching with a DC. Eventually I found that the netlogon and w32time service was not running on the DC. After starting them, the log cleared up. x 108 EventID.Net This behavior occurs when NTLM version 2 (NTLMv2) is used for authentication and when there is a time difference of more than 30 minutes between the local Windows XP computer and the remote Windows XP computer. See ME957009 for details on this situation. If you work on a Microsoft Cluster Service (MSCS) cluster that is running Microsoft Windows Server 2003, the Windows Time service is working in NT5DS mode and one of the virtual groups in this cluster owns more than two virtual Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, you will see this event logged multiple times in the System event log. See ME914043 to solve this problem. x 112 Anonymous In my case, this problem was caused by the "AEGIS Protocol (IEEE 802.1x) v 3.4.3.0" driver that was probably installed together with the ASUS WLAN driver. This event occurred together with Event ID 14 from source W32Time, Event ID 5719 from source NETLOGON and Event ID 1054 from source Userenv. After disabling this item in the network card properties, all these errors were gone. x 111 Vlastimil Bandik - Description

Solved W32Time Error Event ID 29, NtpClient has no source of accurate time Posted on 2008-12-04 Windows Server 2003 1 Verified Solution 3 Comments 5,160 Views Last Modified: 2012-05-05 Below is the error and some of solutions i have tired but failed to work: The Problem - W32Time Error, Event ID 29, Description="The time provider NtpClient is configured to acquire time from on or more time sources, however none of the sources are currently accessible. No attempt to contact a source will be made for 1 minutes. NtpClient has no source of accurate time." The subsequent system log message says "The time provider NtpClient is currently receiving valid time data from DC" It puzzles me why it would produce any error if it's still receiving valid time data. I found the difference is that there's no message saying "time service is now synchronizing the system time with the time source DC." The system is running Windows Sever 2003 Standard with Service Pack 2, it is a member server that syncronize its time with two domain servers. Microsoft suggested to update the OS, but it already has the latest patches and SP2 (latest up to August 2008). The registry on this server's W32Time was set exactly
