Yes my windows is up to date and I did install sp51066, however, I find it odd that the information on the file at the HP site states this is version 8.65.09081... dated 18 Nov 2010, but when I check the driver that was installed in device manager, I read version 8.650.00 dated 8/13/2009. m 0 l scout_03 29 October 2011 09:57:04 did you also have the intel 915 gm install on the same link m 0 l dgibble 29 October 2011 10:32:34 Even though Intel 915 is available at the same link, CPUID says the video chip is ATI Mobility Radeon 2600 code name RV630 on a HP motherboard with Intel chipset PM965 and Southbridge 82801HBM(ICH8-M) running an Intel Mobile Core2 Duo T8300 cpu. It's probably a BIG mistake to design a computer with Intel and AMD parts on it; neither will admit their errors. m 0 l Can't find your answer ? Ask ! Ati2mtag Error Started by Paulrenno , Jan 07 2008 05:05 AM Please log in to reply 8 replies to this topic #1 Paulrenno Paulrenno Members 302 posts OFFLINE Gender:Male Location:Willenhall, UK Local time:01:57 AM Posted 07 January 2008 - 05:05 AM I seem to be a bit of a regular here with these problems I keep getting in 2008! All have been sorted by Bleeping. I had an intermmittent problem restarting when shutting down. I thought I had fixed it (via bleeping help) by uninstallling avast and reinstalling, and doing a chckdisc. Now it has happened again, and the only error in the event manager is 'event 45062 ati2mtag CRT invalid display type' I did notice in Windows Update the other day, an update for my Radeon 9600 ATI - which I downloaded and it installed. If that is the problem, how do I uninstall that update? Im clutching at straws because it may have nothing to do with that. Any suggestions?
