It can also be caused by something in the query itself failing, such as if the report is based on a stored procedure that doesn't exist on the database against which the report is running. It is likely that a table is being referenced that does not exist or does not have adequate permissions in the failed to report. The following are some examples where this error might occur: - A custom table or view was added to the report without adequate permissions. - An Ad Hoc query was run that references a table not included in the report. - Invalid Sort Options were added to the iMIS failed to open Report Spec. - A table was added to the report, but no fields from that table occur in the report. - Aliased fields in the view have spaces in the alias names.
