Is there any way I can turn on detailed diagnostics that will tell me more about the cause of isdev warning the error? "dnu --verbose build" does not provide anything useful leppie commented Dec 1, 2015 It is normally due to invalid code that is not detected properly by Roslyn. Search for CS7038 https://github.com/dotnet/roslyn/search?q=CS7038&type=Issues&utf8=%E2%9C%93 to see if you have anything similar in your code. If not. Try create a minimal repro. seesharper commented Dec 1, 2015 It compiles just fine with target framework set to dnx451, but fails under dnxcore50. So there is no way to get

a detailed log from Roslyn that could give me a little more information about what the cause of the error might be? Otherwise this would be sort of finding the needle in a haystack. seesharper commented Dec 1, 2015 Another thing I discovered is that it happens only in release builds leppie commented Dec 1, 2015 Can you maybe run peverify on your debug build? Dont think it will help, but it might. seesharper commented Dec 1, 2015 Just tried it. peverify reports no errors on the debug build seesharper commented Dec 1, 2015 I am going to try to hunt this down, but Roslyn should seriously consider to provide more information in the event of failing to compile an assembly. leppie commented Dec 1, 2015 If you can, please let us know. I was attempting to fix another CS7038 bug over the weekend, but still havent been able to track down where the problem happens. seesharper commented Dec 1, 2015 I managed to narrow it down to this. using System.Reflection; public class Foo { public void SomeMethod() { const TypeAttributes TypeAttributes = TypeAttributes.Public; } } The error is caused by naming the variable exactly the same as the type name; Changing the code to this makes it compile without the CS7038 error message. using System.Reflection; public class Foo { public void SomeMethod() { const TypeAttributes typeAttribute

I have 14 pairs to migrate, from 3 DMX arrays down to 1 DMX4. The "powermig setup" command completed fine for the first 13 pairs but failed with the following message for the last pair.root@hostname # /etc/emc/bin/powermig setup -tt OR -source emcpower9c -target emcpower19c -nopromptPPME_OR error(7143): The gatekeeper device (while using the Base Daemon) has an error (Please see the Log file)I've tried giving the host 8 GK's on the new array and it still didn't work. This attempt DID work on another Solaris host that encountered the same error, however.Any ideas? 226Views Tags: none (add) support Content tagged with support , powerpath Content tagged with powerpath Categories: PowerPath 1. most InstallShield build errors and warnings in the Knowledge Base. For troubleshooting information about errors and warnings that may occur when you are building a virtual application, see Virtualization Conversion Errors and Warnings. Replace the digital certificate information in your project with a .pfx certificate, or with a reference to a certificate in a certificate store. This error occurs if you added .spc and .pvk files to your project in an earlier version of InstallShield that included support for digitally signing with those files, and then you open your project in InstallShield 2015 and attempt to build a release or a patch. To resolve this error, remove the .spc reference from the release or patch configuration. You can replace it with a .pfx certificate, or with a reference to a certificate in a certificate store. To learn more, see: • Digital Signing and Security • Digitally Signing a Release and Its Files at Build Time • Signing a Patch Package • Signing a QuickPatch Package -7346 The files in this release are being signed with a SHA-1 certificate. Windows will not trust files that were signed with SHA-1 certificates if they were signed after January 1, 2016. not being created It is recommended that multiple IntelliSnap backups using the same host must be run one after the other. Multiple IntelliSnap backups running at the same time may cause the snapshot creation to fail due to the database lock. IntelliSnap backup failed IntelliSnap backup may fail when EMC Solutions Enabler software does not clean the SYMAPI database locks during abnormal termination of any process using SYMAPI. Additionally, this also causes the subsequent snapshot operations to hang indefinitely. As a workaround for this issue, reset the SYMAPI database locks using the EMC utilities or any other procedures provided by EMC.
