0. serverIOTimeoutRetry -1, retry YES, rc 10 The above error is due to low value of ServerIOtimeOut. ServerIOtimeOut plugin property explanation from IBM: The ServerIOTimeout attribute of a server element enables

the plug-in to set a time out value, in seconds, for sending requests error: lib_stream: openstream: failed in r_gsk_secure_soc_init: gsk_error_bad_cert to and reading responses from the application server. If you set the ServerIOTimeout attribute to a positive value, this attempt ws_common: webspherewriterequestreadresponse: failed to find a transport to contact the server ends when the timeout occurs. However, the server is not considered to be down and future requests are still sent to the server on which the timeout occurred.. If http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=nas8N1019946 you set the ServerIOTimeout attribute to a negative value, the server is considered to be down whenever a timeout occurs, and no future requests are sent to the server on which the timeout occurred. If a value is not set for the ServerIOTimeout attribute, the plug-in, by default, uses blocked I/O to write requests to and read responses from the application server, and does not time http://webspherelinks.blogspot.com/2014/04/esi-getresponse-failed-to-get-response.html out the TCP connection. The real error is the line before the rc = 10. "ws_common: websphereWriteRequestReadResponse: Failed to find an app server to handle this request" WebSphere could not fin an application server to handle the request. You may need to increase the logging level of the WebSphere plugin, but off hand I would say that IHS received a request something like: http://yourhost.yourdomain.com/app01 and

We upgraded our IHS from 2.0.42 to 2.0.47. It's a simple process but you must know the steps. That said the transition went fairly smoothly. Subsequently I noticed the plugin log was quite large - over 1 GB. That said I had it removed; the log file continue to grow again. Our WAN administrator ran an IPTrace. When I reviewed some of the packets - I noticed some of our DNS entries were misconfigured with a few servers. After correcting that this morning - our logs still continue to grow. Here's the gist of our messages: [Fri Oct 08 12:07:44 2010] 00000580 000008b0 - ERROR: ws_server_group: NewserverGroupNextRoundRobinServer: Failed to find a server in group iis_Cluster; all could be down or have reached the maximimum connections limit [Fri Oct 08 12:07:44 2010] 00000580 000008b0 - ERROR: ws_common: websphereFindServer: Failed to find a server [Fri Oct 08 12:07:44 2010] 00000580 000008b0 - ERROR: ws_common: websphereWriteRequestReadResponse: Failed to find a server [Fri Oct 08 12:07:44 2010] 00000580 000008b0 - ERROR: ESI: getResponse: failed to get response: rc = 4 [Fri Oct 08 12:07:44 2010] 00000580 000008b0 - ERROR: ws_common: websphereHandleRequest: Failed to handle request [Fri Oct 08 12:07:44 2010] 00000580 00000900 - ERROR: ws_server_group: NewserverGroupNextRoundRobinServer: Failed to find a server in group iis_Cluster; all could be down or have reached the maximimum connections limit [Fri Oct 08 12:07:44 2010] 00000580 00000900 - ERROR: ws_common: websphereFindServer: Failed to find a server [Fri Oct 08 12:07:44 2010] 00000580 00000900 - ERROR: ws_common: websphereWriteRequestReadResponse: Failed to find a server [Fri Oct 08 12:07:44 2010] 00000580 00000900 - ERROR: ESI: getResponse: failed to get response: rc = 4 [Fri Oct 08 12:07:44 2010] 00000580 00000900 - ERROR: ws_common: websphereHandleRequest: Failed to handle request Any thoughts on what could be causing this?
