I'd like to know error: failed to open connection - nt_status_resource_name_not_found how to capture the user states for all the computers at once. I have kace nt_status_logon_failure USMT setup on the K200 appliance where I can capture them one at a time, but when I key in dell kace agent provisioning multiple host names, all fail but 1. What is the syntax or how do I get them all at once? 0 Comments [ + ] Show Comments Comments Please log in to http://www.itninja.com/question/step-2-authentication-failed-solved comment Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,so that the conversation will remain readable. I've tried putting each on their on line, but get: ERROR: Failed to open connection - NT_Status_IO_Timeout on all but the last in the list. When I get to my branches, I'd http://www.itninja.com/question/how-to-capture-user-states-on-multiple-pc-s like to do the entire branch at once as this will save me tons of time. I believe winexe is based heavily on samba. For comparisons sake, everything works as expected with a samba file transfer to the host: smbclient --workgroup=. --user=Administrator%asdfasdf //10.50.3.126/ADMIN$ -c "put test" Domain=[WINXP0001] OS=[Windows 5.1] Server=[Windows 2000 LAN failed to open Manager] putting file test as \test (0.0 kb/s) (average 0.0 kb/s) But winexe is having problems with the same host and local credentials: winexe --workgroup=. --user=Administrator%asdfasdf //10.50.3.126 "cmd /C hostname" ERROR: Failed to open connection - NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE But Domain credentials work fine: winexe --user=mydomain/Administrator%asdfasdf //10.50.3.126 "cmd /C hostname" winxp0001 I've tried winexe 1.0 and .9 My target host is a windows xp machine. linux windows-xp samba remote-access remote-control share|improve this question asked Mar 26 '14 at 20:01 user3465524 12 add a comment| active oldest votes Know someone who can answer?
