This part works find. Yet, when I click on "Post", I get the following error : Error Domain=com.facebook.Facebook.platform Code=102 "The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.facebook.Facebook.platform error 102.)" failed to authenticate the application because of app name mismatch android UserInfo=0x14dd1a10 {error_message=Failed to authenticate the application because of app name mismatch. Please check the application name configured by the dialog., app_id=000000, error_code=102} (In this message, I just replaced with zeroes the app_id I got from the Facebook developer page.) On the Facebook app settings, I set the following as such : "Display name" : the same name as the app name "Bundle ID" with the string return by [[NSBundle mainBundle] bundleIdentifier]; The app is "live" (not in sandbox) "Deep Linking" and "Connect to FB" : both activated When I save my settings on the FB dev page, I get a warning saying that I did not set an AppStore identifier (which is not yet available since I am developing the app). Can you please tell me the little thing that I did not do correctly ? Thanks in advance for your reply. I'll be happy to provide you with more info if necessary. ios facebook share|improve this question asked Aug 30 '13 at 21:10 LudoZik 704512 Have you tried removing "deep linking"? You do not need to select that. Also the app can be sandboxed and you can still test your iPhone app. –AdamG Aug 31 '13 at 0:14 Thanks for the tip, bu

I have my own Open Graph objects, stories though. This worked well when I had existing login into my iPhone's native FB app. This login was the one who administers my FB app. I have everything verified including bundle ID, URL scheme, app store ID and so on. After some time successfully posting, I started observing that my posts were successfully getting posted (response http://stackoverflow.com/questions/27324966/ios-facebook-posting-using-open-graph-fails-error-code-102 code) but not appearing in FB timeline. I played with timeline audience access and so on, but to no avail. Then I switched the user on device FB app, and I started getting error code 102. The response doesn't say much, except this: Error Domain=com.facebook.Facebook.platform Code=102 FBAPIErrorDomain error 3506 I figure from this documentation that this has something to do with API Session - I am doing nothing inside my app to obtain one, and I don't know if I should, if I am using the above example code. What should I do to ensure I always have valid Facebook session while I post? ios iphone facebook facebook-graph-api share|improve this question edited Dec 7 '14 at 9:19 asked Dec 5 '14 at 21:28 Nirav Bhatt 4,56442767 1 See stackoverflow.com/questions/15479534/… –Ming Li Jan 6 '15 at 19:02 upvote thanks. Before FB app approval by Facebook, one needs to add test users to perform actions related to permissions. share|improve this answer answered Jan 6 '15 at 19:10 Nir

When I was using the app with a user that is not an administrator or developer of the app, I would see this error.Per the note at the top of the Action Type page (accessible from developer.facebook.com > apps > Your App (on left hand side) > Edit App > Open Graph > Types > Your Action Type), Unsubmitted This Action Type must be submitted for review in order for it to be available to all users. This Action Type is available to admins and developers of the app. share|improve this answer answered Aug 12 '13 at 17:46 Greg 23.6k97386 add a comment| up vote 0 down vote I met the same problem because I was in sandbox mode for my fb app. So I use my own developer account to login in and it works. share|improve this answer answered Sep 12 '13 at 19:54 Karen 1 add a comment| up vote 0 down vote Check Following FacebookDisplayName is set properly and correct in plist URL Schemefbxxxxxxxxxxx is added in the plistFacebookAppID is set correctly in plist filein Status & Review sec
