Also check failed to authenticate with remote system system error the network path was not found if the system is resolving to the correct IP.Are you able to open the admin$ share of the client system from the ePO server using the same credentials used when using Deploy Agent? Save it to a location that is accessible to users3. If you can remote to the machine in question do so and navigate to the installation file4. If logged in as the user use the "Run As" option and try manually installing the agent as either the local Administrator or the Domain administrator.......Give that a bash.... an Mcafee agent v.4.6 to http://www.mundosysadmin.com/content/failed-authenticate-remote-system-epo-40 a Windows 2008 R2 and I was getting the following message in ePO console. Mcafee Failed to authenticate with remote system, system error: There is no user failed to session key for the specified logon session. Problem? Time sync. Target server had more than 2 hours difference from domain time. So adjusted time and issue resolved. Responder Antivirus Añadir nuevo comentario Uno de los errores mas comunes a la hora de distribuir los agentes a las maquinas, arranstrado de versiones anteriores, en la v4 sp4 sigue fallando. Estas son las causas mas normales (las que me pasan a mi). 1.- En PC's con direccionamiento asignado por dhcp a veces el directorio activo no refresca bien esos cambios y el nombre del equipo no corresponde con la ip que tiene asignada. Mala solución, borrar la entrada en el directorio activo para forzar a que ponga la nueva, o añadir a mano la entrada en el hosts para intalar el agente (y luego borrarla). 2.- Falta de permisos en la cuenta con la que despliegas el agente, esta cuenta debe de ser administrador (muy peligroso !!). Desde la consola debes de ser capaz de mapear por netbios la maquina \\maquina\Admin$ (para comprobar si lo tienes ejecuta net share en la maquina cliente y deberia de aparecerte,sino lo hace ejecuta net share Admin$). 3.- Puertos cerrados en firewall de red: Mira bien que puertos necesitas (por defecto, 8080, 8081, 81) y asegurate de permitirlos en los firewalls locales (hay que tener activado en file sharing)).
