Mithraidates Strit 2016-05-13 17:33:46 UTC #2 Did you try simply updating the keyring packages? sudo pacman -S archlinux-keyring manjaro-keyring eugen-b 2016-05-13 19:14:25 UTC #3 It's Stefano's public key, https://forum.manjaro.org/t/missing-key-stops-upgrade/776 installing manjaro keyring as Strit wrote should resolve this. Updated the keyring as stated here, and proceed to update the system. After update re-started the system and it booted to the login screen ok, Login to the desktop, after the desktop is displayed, approx. 5 sec leter the screen goes black. Used the CTL+ALT+Backspace to get back to the login screen. Tried again with another user same result. Unable to progress any further. Note I have 2 other Linux Os on a shared SSD which works ok, This version of Manjaro is installed as the 3rd Os on the disk.I use grub2 menu to select system to boot. Note: /home is on a separate physical drive.Any help would be useful.. My apology for entry here! GJohnson 2016-05-22 20:19:32 UTC #7 Thanks for the tip! It downloads, installs and leaves you the hell alone with things a computer should be able to do on its own.Recently I tried upgrading my antergos / arch linux notebook and got the following error message, after running pacman -Syu:: Proceed with installation? Now what? Okay, turns out, you have to run the commands like this to be sure that all the packages are signed correctly and some verification stuff that improves your security:sudo pacman -Syy sudo pacman -S antergos-keyring sudo pacman -Suu Basically this ensures that you have the up to date keys for your derivative. If you run manjaro it would be manjaro-keyring.Source: I was lucky on one of my google searches and found a thread about the keyrings in the manjaro forum. The whole reason I needed this was to fix a buggy version of som
